Allergy & Asthma

Allergies are immune system reactions to harmless substances like pollen or food, causing symptoms such as sneezing, itching, or rashes.  Asthma is a chronic condition where inflamed airways cause breathing difficulties, with symptoms including wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. It can be triggered by allergens, infections, or physical activity.

Allergies and asthma are often intertwined because both involve an overactive immune response. Allergens can trigger asthma symptoms in individuals, leading to airway inflammation and breathing difficulties. This overlap is known as allergic asthma.
