Safe Medication Disposal Service

Med-Project Logo.jpg

Proper disposal of medications is crucial for protecting our health, safety, and environment. Unused or expired medications, if not disposed of correctly, can lead to accidental poisoning, misuse, or overdose. Additionally, improper disposal methods, such as flushing medications down the toilet or throwing them in the trash, can contaminate water supplies and harm wildlife. By safely disposing of medications, we help prevent drug abuse, safeguard our communities, and preserve the environment for future generations.

We are proud to partner with Med-Project for achieveing this goal for our community

Safe Disposal of Sharps

Sharps Disposal.jpg

Proper disposal of sharps, such as needles, syringes, and lancets, is essential for protecting public health and safety. Sharps can pose serious risks if not disposed of correctly, including needlestick injuries and the spread of infections such as HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. Unsafe disposal can harm sanitation workers, healthcare personnel, and the general public. By following safe disposal practices, we help prevent injuries, reduce the risk of disease transmission, and ensure a safer environment for everyone.

To ensure proper disposal of sharps for the community, we will gladly take sharps from our patient and community residents to be sent for destruction with our contracted Sharps Disposal Company.
